As Podiatrists, We have over 15 years experience dealing with a wide range of Foot and Ankle Sports Injuries including Ankle pain, Heel pain (Plantar Fasciitis), Arch pain, Acute injuries (ankle sprains, ingrown toenails), Shin splints/Periostitis (common in runners), Achilles Tendonitis and Pains in the Big Toe joints (particularly from kicking sports such as AFL and soccer). As a Member of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM), we regularly attend Sports Medicine seminars conducted by Australia's leading experts in foot and ankle sports injuries and Foot Orthotics.
A Wide range of treatments is available including Referrals for X-ray (bony pathology) and Ultrasound (soft tissue pathology) Bulk Billed at the local Radiology practice nearby if required. Biomechanical (examining the various foot and ankle joints) and Gait (walking) analysis are a speciality at our practice. All assessments are included in your initial consultation.
We recommended bringing your two main pairs of footwear (plus any sporting footwear) to your consultation. If you require Custom Sports Orthotics, these can be fitted at your initial consultation but we require your footwear for an accurate orthotic prescription in our rooms.
